The Tale of Two Computers

Owners Michele and Sam both decided to upgrade their computers to start the New Year but they took entirely different paths. Michele, a dedicated Mac user, decided to go all-in and upgrade to the latest iMac with additional memory for the large files she works with like multi-page brochures, and annual reports. Sam, on the other hand, has vacillated between Mac and PCs through out her graphic design career and she chose to build her own PC.

Michele's decision to stick with Mac was based on her familiarity with the operating system and the creative software programs she uses for her work. She also values the sleek design and seamless integration of Apple products. On the other hand, Sam's decision to build her own PC was motivated by her desire for customization and the ability to upgrade individual components as needed. She edits most videos for the company for social media and email clients, so having the proper graphics card and RAM is super important for such large files.

So, how did we fare?

Michele headed out to the Apple Store in Trumbull armed with a list of requirements. Two very knowledgeable team members guided her in the purchase and in two weeks time, she will be up and running at lightening speed.

Meanwhile, back at the studio, Sam was unpacking all the boxes delivered the past few weeks. She built her computer from started to finish that very same day with a little help from YouTube videos and a few tips from friends. By dinner time she was basking in the glow of her multi-colored ......... and up and running PC.

Both Michele and Sam's choices have their advantages and disadvantages. Ultimately, it comes down to a personal preference and individual needs. Either way we are excited to start 2024 with state-of-the-art computer systems and are looking forward to helping your business shine with creative, effective design solutions!
